I share trauma-informed tools to support healthy self-regulation. My work integrates simple yet powerful self-healing practices that empower us to cultivate balance on all dimensions of being. In this time of transition, exhaustion, depression, grief, and empathic distress are common. Daily practice can help us build the resilience we need to deal with stressful situations gracefully and adapt well to change. I currently offer public and private classes, workshops and courses at PranaShanti Yoga Centre and in our home studio.
My foundation is based on studies of Hatha Yoga with Devinder Kaur and other faculty; Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT) with Joseph and Lilian Le Page, Maria Mendola and Serena Aurora; and LifeForce Yoga (LFY) with Amy Weintraub. Exploring a wide spectrum of mind-body therapeutic techniques also led me to study sound as a healing modality with Jonathan Goldman and Barclay McMillan. My primary teacher is Brian James in the yogic lineage of TVK Desikachar and T Krishnamacharya.

on specific training, not derived from my status as a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance. 

These offerings are suitable as a complement to various allopathic approaches overseen by a medical doctor.
